The rancid twit streamer Hasan Piker must be one of the most vile characters on the anti-American Jew-hating left. Yesterday he came to town for an appearance at the fetid Omar Fateh’s I’m The Host Now event along with the audacious Ilhan Omar.
NewsNation’s Rich McHugh posted on X that the event took place at Theatre in the Round on Minneapolis’s West Bank, in Omar country, but NewsNation was not allowed to cover it. Neither was Minnesota Public Radio: “MPR News was invited to cover the event, then denied access at the last minute by Fateh, who said media was barred because of space concerns.”
CBS News was allowed to cover it. The CBS News story quotes Piker on the question why Minnesota politics has been in the national spotlight over the past six-plus years. “Honestly, it’s going to come across as oversimplified, but I think it’s jealousy.” I’m pretty sure that’s not it.
The Star Tribune was also allowed to cover the event, or cover it up, in the characteristic nothing to see here style that it applies to its friends on the left.
There’s some irony in Rep. Ilhan Omar closing out her appearance at tonight’s I’m the Host Now event with Omar Fateh and Hasan Piker by declaring:
“That Minnesota doesn’t send people who are corrupt and are interested in enriching themselves.”
Omar has faced repeated financial scrutiny over the years, including campaign-finance violations and questions surrounding her husband’s businesses.
Her disclosures initially valued those businesses at up to $30 million, prompting scrutiny from House Oversight Chairman James Comer. In April, she amended her disclosure citing accounting errors.
And just this month, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed a new federal investigation into Omar’s financial disclosures.
