In Sen. Elissa Slotkin’s (D-MI) now-famous interview on Fox News, where she warned young conservatives away from politics, we see the liberal bubble in action. Or is it the color revolution to dump Trump?
Or just a girl graduate of the CIA Color Revolution School fluffing her feathers?
I am shocked, shocked, how many prominent national women did their turn in the CIA or a CIA-adjacent NGO. It’s not just Slotkin. There’s Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA). Avril Haines served as Deputy Director of the CIA, but I guess that doesn’t really count as spy service. Then there is NPR CEO Katherine Maher, who seems to have been involved in the color revolution craze in its Arab Spring phase, as Christopher Rufo mentions in his Maher piece,
The ostensible purpose of Color Revolutions… is to replace authoritarian regimes with Western liberal democracies. American and European intelligence services are often heavily involved in these revolutions, with ambitions not only to spread modern ideologies but also to undermine geopolitical opponents.
No doubt that was true of the Ukraine Maidan Revolution in 2014 on Obama’s watch. But here in the U.S. in 2026?
Colour revolutions typically feature nonviolent mass mobilization against perceived electoral irregularities in semi-authoritarian regimes[.]

Just which party is usually associated in the minds of voters with “perceived electoral irregularities”?
Now, about those girl IC graduates, there is Kurt Schleicher’s take on the CIA from when he served in the armed forces:
With few exceptions, my experience with the Agency has been distinctly negative… The real ones pulling the triggers tend to be pretty cool. The rest of them? They’d fit in nicely at the rear of the bell curve at your local DMV.
I am sure that our girl IC graduates were all cool trigger pullers.
